Your roof fits up to 15.0 kWp. We size the system so every extra kWp still pays back within 10 years, and never above 95% of your use. A larger system is possible; each extra kWp then takes longer to pay back.
Assumptions: 1,750 kWh per kWp per year; panels lose 0.5% a year; upkeep at 1% of the system price a year and one inverter replacement (8% of price) in year 12. Prices from the Reservia price list: homes EGP 30,600 per kWp up to 10 kWp, easing to 23,400 at 50 kWp; factories 23,400; farms 19,800; hybrid diesel sites 22,500; battery EGP 120,000. Home bills use the household tiers from the August 2026 bill (about 12% above April 2026, as reported by the Egyptian press; the official table is still to be confirmed), with solar offsetting your kWh through net metering. Diesel at the price you enter, 0.3 litres per kWh, plus 10% for generator servicing. No financing and no tax effects. The price list inflates yearly, so quotes after 2026 will be higher.
